Game History. Issue №2 - Free Lands


Hello again! This is the second blog dedicated to the history of the game world and it will focus on Free lands. Free lands located between Empire and desert Angrol ((death in the language of magicians) it's about her and the surrounding area Retiree will be discussed in the next blog). The free lands are inhabited by many clans with their castles, barbarians, nomads, caravans and villages with ordinary peaceful people. The villagers do not obey anyone, they live their lives and take monthly guards, which usually consists of these very inhabitants and, less often, of mercenaries and travelers passing through the village. Only six villages can rightly be called cities. Only they have walls, though wooden palisade. The main danger of the barbarians that constantly raids on villages and caravans constantly passing through the Free lands, going from Retiree to Empire or Vice versa. Fighting with them visiting mercenaries, warriors of the clans and the guards of villages. To the North is the largest arena in the continent, protected by the warriors of the clan Nahukay-Gryon (in the language of the East means "born to kill"). Clans are constantly fighting among themselves for various reasons, be it influence, territory and simple personal hostility. The folk weapon of the Free lands is a short sword bent so that the edge looks at the enemy, called Shi-okar (in the Eastern language - the fear of death). Shi-okar is widespread on all Free lands and sometimes meets have mercenaries. East Free lands is often subjected to the attacks of the skeletons from the desert Angrol.
